Half way now and you should be well pleased to have less than 40 on the card. The tenth at Rathsallagh is one of the best golf holes on the course. Teeing off from in front of the Eagles Nest Clubhouse you look down the slope to the burn crossing the fairway and further to the green tucked behind the lake on the right.
A long true drive here is essential. You need to get as close as you can to the water and this leaves you with a long iron or even a wood for your next shot. For your second shot you have water on your right, and a tree-lined ditch on the left all the way to the green. Not much margin for error here.
The 10th green is multi-level and contoured and is considered to be one of the more difficult greens. A par here is very good score, and for the middle-to-high handicaps a bogey is a good achievement. This hole has a bit of a reputation for ruining many a good card.
Our Clubhouse overlooks the 9th, 10th and 18th holes and is the perfect location to watch your partners finish their round from. Excellent food and beverages await you in this fine facility upon your return. Our Golf Shop stocks an excellent selection of clothing, balls and accessories, and Club, Shoe and Buggy and Electric Golf Cart Hire are all available on request.
