Hole 14, Par 4 - 351 yards
The 14th is a very well designed short par 4 and clever fairway management has ensured that only the longest of hitters will play down the slightly shorter right hand side of the hole. From the tee the drive is quite daunting with overhanging trees both right and left. A straight drive here is your only option !
The Out of Bounds here should not trouble you but it does pay to ensure you get a good position on the fairway as the rough is quite thick in places and makes the second shot difficult if you hit an errant drive.
The ideal position is past the large tree on the right and a reasonable drive will leave you a short second to the green.
This is perhaps one of the only holes at Rathsallagh with only one sand trap but the clever slopes away from the centre of the green ensure that you have to hit a good second to get near the pin.
Our Clubhouse overlooks the 9th, 10th and 18th holes and is the perfect location to watch your partners finish their round from. Excellent food and beverages await you in this fine facility upon your return. Our Golf Shop stocks an excellent selection of clothing, balls and accessories, and Club, Shoe and Buggy and Electric Golf Cart Hire are all available on request.
