In my humble opinion this is one of the best golf holes in Ireland. Again a "blind" shot from the tee this is not a long hole, however it can catch the long hitter.
You must place your tee shot in the right position, and then you have to hit a very precise second shot to a narrow green, which is protected to the front by a lake, a large bunker, and with a stream behind.
The ideal tee shot is just beyond the big tree on the right and as close to the water as possible. Although a daunting prospect this position will give you the best angle of approach to the green over the lake.
The green is very well guarded front, back and to the right and is smaller than a lot of others here. You need as good a second shot as a drive and this is one of the most challenging holes I've ever played. A true masterpiece of course design.
Our Clubhouse overlooks the 9th, 10th and 18th holes and is the perfect location to watch your partners finish their round from. Excellent food and beverages await you in this fine facility upon your return. Our Golf Shop stocks an excellent selection of clothing, balls and accessories, and Club, Shoe and Buggy and Electric Golf Cart Hire are all available on request.
