Let Rathsallagh host your big day! near to Dublin / Dublin Airport on the Kildare Wicklow border Rathsallagh is closed exclusively to you for your Wedding Day. Enjoy the fantastic scenery, the wonderful facilities and the great location Rathsallagh has to offer you and your wedding party with 570 acres of Parkland and Walled Gardens. Rathsallagh prides itself on  wonderful cuisine sourced locally, many of the Herbs and Vegetables used are grown in our own Gardens.

Rathsallagh has won many  awards for its restaurant and the main focus at here is on the food and service: a magnificent 5-Course Dinner cooked to order, with fish and vegetarian options provided, all allergies taken into account  The bed rooms at Rathsallagh are luxurious charming, comfortable, and individual. 

We have being hosting wedding parties for over 20 years now and our experience in that regard is hard to surpass. At Rathsallagh House we can comfortably seat 130 guests whiel we can cater for up to 175 in our  Golf Club House from October to March. Rathsallagh House is set up to provide a soft romantic setting for your Wedding with lots of candles and garden flower arrangements provided at no extra charge. Because you have exclusive use of the estate on your big day , Rathsallagh is considered to be one of Irelands more unusual and exclusive wedding venues.

Children Attending your Wedding ?

Rathsallagh has a policy of not catering for Children under 12 years of age, however on your wedding day the House is exclusively yours and you can of course invite children as young as you wish. In fact on the big day it is the bride and groom who set our child policy.   If you wish we can provide child minders during the day, a separate dining area with supervision, and of course baby sitters in the evening. . Our wedding coordinators can give you more information in relation to children attending weddings at Rathsallagh.

On Site Civil Ceremonies & Blessings ?

We have facilities on site for civil ceremonies and blessings. To avoid using the same room as that for the reception we can offer a number of options from our Orangey and Walled Gardens to other intimate settings.  Although the law has only recently changed in relation to Civil Ceremonies out side of a Registry Office, at Rathsallagh we have years of experience in relation to on site blessings and other types of wedding ceremonies.

As Wedding venues must have an individual inspection for each and every on site civil marriage ceremony, the Health Service Executive prohibits establishments from advertising the fact they have been generally approved to hold such ceremonies. However Rathsallagh House can advise that they have experienced inspections for the purposes of being approved for the holding of a Civil Marriage Ceremony and already a number of on site ceremonies have been scheduled and will occur here during 2008. Numbers and Dates.

At Rathsallagh our maximum number for weddings is 130 guests,  and our minimum is 90, however depending on the dates involved we can sometimes quote for lower numbers. ( See our Weddings for 50 package  )  

We do have minimum room requirements depending on the date you choose.   If you are worried at all about the number of bedrooms you are required to take have a look at this link and read through the .e mail chain .

We are putting plans in place for a permanent indoor marquee complete with stage lighting and sound  and  capable of taking up to 350 and a minimum of 150 guests –  This will not change the way Rathsallagh hosts a wedding reception the  House will still be exclusive to you for your wedding, and we will still only take one wedding per day. If you are interested in this larger on site venue please do not hesitate to let us know.

 

Site Inspections

Because Rathsallagh is frequently taken on an exclusive use basis we are closed to non residents ( with the exception of evening dinner reservations ) , particularly on Saturday’s and Sundays. Site inspections of Rathsallagh are very strictly by appointment only Monday to Friday  ( depending on occupancy and in exceptional circumstances we can have site inspections on some Saturday mornings up to 12 noon,. .)
